Making “aha moments” happen.
Hello, my name is Richard Jacobson. I’m an instructional designer, facilitator, and training consultant. I’m also a former Apple Lead Trainer, a tech startup co-founder, a TED speaker, and a former mentor at the Nashville Entrepreneur Center.
Samples of My Work

This section focuses on product materials and construction.
This section explains the various customer needs.
This section matches those needs to features and benefits.
It should be noted I not only created all the training content but many of the graphics, animations and 3D models, as well.
Here are samples of trainings I created while at Apple.
This explains why customers should purchase AppleCare sooner.
This explains how to position the One to One service.
This training increased customer satisfaction scores by 30%.
In this example, I created all the graphics and animations, as well as all the training content.
This is a workshop I facilitated while mentoring at The Nashville Entrepreneur Center.
I developed a simplified version of Joseph Campbell’s Hero’s Journey to tell a company’s brand story.
I originally created this approach while making the investor pitch for our own tech startup.
My approach showcases products and the problems they solve in a more compelling way.
Though I mostly modified stock graphics for this project, I did create all the content and animations.
